SPECIAL TO THE NEWS-COURIER The Runoff for the 2024 Republican Primary will be held on May 28 in the Knox City Community Center. Since there is not a state runoff, only Precinct 101 in Knox City will have one.

MUNDAY – If you’ve attended events around Munday in the last year or two, you may have already met the energetic and ambitious Cindie Kesler, or at least seen her work, as Cindie and her family frequently pitch in and contribute to efforts to promote Munday and Knox County.

MUNDAY - The Movement Space Company Dancers competed in the Dance Showcase USA dance competition in Lubbock, Texas last weekend. Their hard work and dedication earned top awards.

Each year the Wichita – Brazos SWCD sponsors the District Poster and Essay Contest. The contest is broken into 2 categories each. The Poster Contest has the Jr. Division that consists of grades Kindergarten through 2nd and the Sr. Division that consists of grades 3 through 6. The Poster Contest has the Jr. Division that consists of ages 13 and under and the Sr. Division that consists of ages 14 to 18.
