Despite intermittent rains the 7th Annual 4th of July Thing, sponsored by Moving Munday Forward, went off without a hitch in Munday at the Munday Event Center.
Festivities included a cornhole tournament, a cakewalk, bingo, a hot dog eating contest and musical performances by the Standing Peppers.
