MUNDAY–VolunteerFire Department (VFD) spokesman Cody Dykes met with the Lions Club on Sept. 12 and explained why the VFD needs a new rodeo arena. The current rodeo arena will be turned into a baseball field for the baseball program began last year at Munday High School.
The VFD hosts the annual rodeo so has taken the responsibility to build a new arena. There is no other rodeo arena in Knox County.
