Meet the Candidates set for Feb. 10

Body The Knox County Republican Executive Committee is presenting a “Meet the Candidates” program with candidates who will be on the Knox County 2024 Republican Primary ballot on Tuesday, March 5. The program will give people a chance to hear from each candidate.

It’ll Do Grill – new restaurant in Munday with Knox County roots

Body MUNDAY – Welcome a new business that opened Jan. 29, the It’ll Do Grill, at 125 W Main in Munday. Long time residents will recall this was the location of Bobby D. Burnett’s law office. This family owned restaurant operated by Jeff and Brenda Searcy has deep roots in the county.
THE BENJAMIN FIRE DEPARTMENT thanks the Texas A&M Forest Service for the $12,000 grant funds that made it possible to get the truck (Unit 74) back into service after a rough fire year. High speed pursuit into Knox County

Body KNOX COUNTY – From Kent Smith at the Foard County News in Crowell - Smith wrote that on Friday, Jan. 26, Crowell law enforcement was notified of a high-speed pursuit headed to Crowell from Paducah. The Crowell officers headed out that way but were unable to stop the vehicle.
