STAMFORD—The Rolling Plains Chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association will host the Rolling Plains TTAA Centennial Reunion for alumni, supporters, and anyone who loves Texas Tech on Wednesday, June 28, at the Penick Hughes Building, located at 102 E. Hamilton St., on the square in Stamford.

Independence Day celebrations

KNOX COUNTY – Don’t miss the events Knox City and Munday have planned to celebrate this Independence Day. Knox City kicks off celebrations on July 3rd at Greyhound Stadium with a car show, live music, food, and fireworks. Registration for the car show begins at 10 a.m., $20 entry fee per vehicle.

Commissioner’s Court hears monthly reports

BENJAMIN – County Judge Stan Wojcik called the regular scheduled meeting of the Commissioner’s Court to order on June 19 and the commissioner’s addressed a short list of topics. Sheriff Bridger Bush introduced Braden Garza, the new Deputy joining the Sheriff ’s department.
