October 11 deadline to register to vote

KNOX COUNTY – The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 11, 2022 to be eligible to vote in the mid-term elections on Nov. 8, 2022.

Knox City council approves budget and tax rate

Knox City council members met on Sept. 20 and reviewed and approved the 2022-2023 budget and tax rate. The tax rate was set at 0.78790510 per $100 valuation to support the approved budget.

KNOX COUNTY – The October calendar shows a busy month ahead for Knox County. The Knights of Columbus Annual Sausage and Fried Chicken dinner kicks off the month on Oct. 9. Oct. 10 is the national holiday Columbus Day that commemorates Columbus landing in the Americas in 1492.
