US 82 rehab project to begin in King County

TxDOT CHILDRESS - Tie Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is set to begin a $5.7 million rehabilitation project on US 82 in King County. Tie project is slated to start construction on Aug. 23, 2022 with A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. as the prime contractor.

Price of gas lower

KNOX COUNTY – The price of gas at the pump varies from location to location, but has been declining recently. According to GasBuddy. com as of Aug. 15, average price per gallon is $3.89 locally, down from a high of $4.69 a few months ago.
