It’s time to prune–or is it?

Body February is the last best month for winter pruning, for many but not all trees and shrubs. Generally, pruning when deciduous trees are dormant during the winter months is the optimum time to remove unwanted wood as trees are not actively growing.

Windbreak trees available

Body The Haskell Soil and Water Conservation District isnowtakingordersforhardwood and evergreen tree seedlings. These trees are great for windbreak, homesite and wildlife. The trees sold are specific to this region. They are grown by the Texas Forest Service.
