Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, marked a special day for retired Munday superintendent Troy Parton. Parton received a standing ovation from his fellow superintendents and Education Service Center (ESC) workers. Deputy Executive Director Kenny Miller introduced Parton to the group with a speech recognizing him for his “passion for the students of Munday, the school district and the town of Munday.”
