Knox County commissioners court held its October meeting Oct. 19, a week later than usual due to the Columbus Day holiday.
Commissioners heard from Stacy Mc-Gee, one of the auditors who worked on the audit from 2024. McGee reported on the findings: in all the audit was good, with the county adding money to its fund balance to the tune of $750,000 give or take in the year ending September 30, 2024.
