BETTY FEEMSTER

Betty Feemster passed away on Saturday,April 1,2023. She was born on July 25, 1937 to Earl and Ruby Myers McNeill in Munday.

At age 9 she accepted Christ and joined First Baptist Church in Munday. Church, bible study, and volunteering has always been an important part of her life. After graduating from Munday High School she attended Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, where she met Murl Feemster. They were married on Nov. 8, 1956 in Munday.

When their children became school age, Betty worked for several public school systems and districts including La Marque and Plano ISD.

After retirement she and Murl traveled extensively with family and friends. Murl passed away in Nov. 2001. Betty continued to travel with grandchildren and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

She is survived by daughter Sharon and Don Babcock; son Ron and DiAnna Feemster; grandchildren Christina and Ryan Salch, Jake Feemster, Sarah DeGarmo and Rachel DeGarmo; great grandchildren Wyatt and Andrew Feemster, Benjamin, Clara and Charlotte Salch; sisters Marie and Bob French, Alice and Jimmy McDaniel; in-laws Jerry and Marilyn Feemster, June Siegler, and Jan Edrington along with numerous cousins.

Funeral Services were coordinated through McCauley- Smith Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Johnson Memorial Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Sugar Land Baptist Church located at 16755 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, Texas 77479. (281) 980-4431.
