Mustangs fall to Harrold; return to gridiron Oct. 9

The #4 Benjamin Mustangs hosted the Harrold Hornets Sept. 24 for their fifth game of the season, entering the week hoping to earn back-to-back victories after defeating Moran the week prior.Harrold controlled most of the game and limited Benjamin’s scoring opportunities.

Benjamin Lady Stangs start district play with a win

Coach Cody Propps took his Lady Stangs to Rule on Tuesday, Sept. 22, for the first district contest of the 2026 volleyball season. The team brought home the victory in 3 sets, 25-11, 25-4, 25-7.ThevictoryoverRulewas followed by another road contest at Rotan on Friday, Sept. 25.

Knox City volleyball starts district with a win

The Houndettes traveled to Rule Saturday, Sept. 26 to start district volleyball play. Knox City won the match in 3 sets. Knox City is in district with Benajmin, Aspermont, Rotan and Rule. Volleyball action typically takes place on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings.

Moguls defeat Archer City 62-51, extend win streak to five games

The Munday Moguls football squad, entering the game riding a four-game winning streak, hosted Archer City for their district opener.Munday and Archer City put on an offensive showcase, with the Moguls ultimately outlasting Archer City 62-51.Quarterback Carson Willison had an impressive performance.

Busy week of volleyball for Benjamin Lady Stangs

Benjamin volleyball fans were treated to a lot of action the week of September 15–19. All teams traveled to Abilene to face TCLA.Benjamin hosted the Live Like Lexi tournament, which featured the three Knox County teams with a few others mixed in.

Greyhounds fall to #2 Motley Co., host Veribest Thursday

The Knox City Greyhounds hosted the #2 Motley County Matadors last week for their fourth game of the season.The Greyhounds entered the week riding a three-game winning streak after defeating Rotan on Homecoming night. Motley County led the game 50-30 after three quarters.
