The Knox City Houndettes started their season off strong at the beginning of August with two back-toback wins against county opponent, Munday, and 4-A Wichita Falls Hirschi, but after those two victories, the Houndettes struggled to add to their win column.

The Benjamin Lady Stangs traveled to Bronte to play in their “A” Showdown tournament this past weekend. Their weekend ended in an undefeated tournament record after breezing past Reagan County, Cornerstone and Miles in pool play on Friday.
