Greyhound runners compete

The Greyhound Cross Country runners were up bright and early on the road Saturday morning to Plains, Texas to run against teams ranging between 1 and 3A schools. The Greyhounds ran and competed well. They ended up 9th as a team, as the only 1A team in the top ten.

Lady Stangs play top teams

The #8 ranked Lady Stangs had a busy week of volleyball, where they picked up two wins against Woodson and Rankin, and a loss to Veribest’s #3 ranked team. Benjamin hosted three teams from Woodson on Tuesday, September 20. The Junior High Lady Stangs won in two clean sets.

Houndettes pick up back to back wins

The Knox City Houndettes earned two big back-to-back wins this week after traveling to Munday and hosting Paducah. On Saturday, September 24th the Houndettes traveled to Munday for JV and Varsity matches.

Greyhounds top Crowell

The Knox City Greyhounds earned another win on Friday night in Crowell against the Wildcats In the first quarter, the Greyhounds outscored the Wildcats 8-0, after a 37-yard run from Caleb Arrieta and a good point after attempt from teammate Devin Guillory.

Bowman brothers, Garcia lead Mogul cross country team

The Munday Moguls and Mogulettes capped off a very busy homecoming week with their home meet on Wednesday the 14th at Lake Creek Golf Course. After that, they had a quick turn around and competed at Copper Breaks on Monday the September 19th.

Houndettes add a loss and a win

The Knox City Houndettes traveled to Paducah on Saturday, September 17, 2022 to face the Lady Dragons in a varsity match. After a very powerful start, leading the Lady Dragons 7-0, we hit a slump and Paducah came back to win set one 25-23.

Coach Caleb Callaway had a lot of positive remarks about Friday’s game in Hermleigh against top-ranked Rankin. The Greyhounds played a hard-fought, back and forth game against the Red De vils. Callaway said, “Our guys came out and competed all night long.

Lady Stangs' win Best Overall Float

Lady Stangs traveled to Electra this past Tuesday with all three teams. Both Junior High and JV squads swept Electra both in straight sets. Varsity handled their own, due to injuries, and came out with a 3-1 victory over a developed Electra team.
