Cornmeal biscuits a successful experiment

I’m reminded of when my dad frequently requested homemade biscuits for breakfast. My mom worked full-time, and she mainly cooked as a way for us to survive. However, she did love to bake sweets and make candy. But she didn’t have the time or desire to make homemade biscuits.
