Kay (Reeves) Fannin, 77, passed away Monday, Sept. 9, 2024. A graveside service was held Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, at the Knox City Cemetery with Rev. Dusty Garison officiating, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Kay was born Sept. 26, 1946 in Knox City, to Leatrice (Qualls) and Charles Reeves, whereshegrewup. Shemarried Gary Fannin on April 11, 1981, in Knox City. She was an avid quilter and was a memberoftheChicoQuilters Guild. She was an amazing cook, liked to shop and go antiquing.Shewasamember of the Methodist Church in Knox City and in Chico. She loved the Lord and her family beyond words.

She is survived by her husband Gary Fannin of Corpus Christi; son Casey Proffitt of Corpus Christi; step-daughter Angela Fannin Stewart of Richmond; grandsons Christopher Ryan Proffitt, Michael Proffitt of San Marcos; granddaughter Elizabeth Proffitt of Corpus Christi; step-grandsons K.J. Stewart and Haley of Lowell, AK, Ty Stewart and Abigail of Jonesborough, TN, Matt Stewart and Zoe of Abilene; step-great granddaughter Palmer Stewart of Lowell, Ak CarolineStewartofJonesborough, TN.

She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Leatrice Reeves; brothers Charles Reeves, Jr., and Bobby Mack Reeves.
