Talk began to swirl this week on social media following a post from the high school sports website Big Country Blitz that Hayes was entertaining an offer from Baird ISD to join their staff as facilities director and athletic director. If the rumor were true, Hayes would likely take two talented Benjamin multi-sport players—his sons Tallon and Keegan— with him, the site speculated.
