KNOX COUNTY – Director Lynn Smith at Rolling Plains Groundwater Conservation District (RPGCD) announced the staff will be out measuring water levels in January and February. The process normally takes two or three weeks depending on the weather and road conditions.

Munday donated city property for rodeo grounds

MUNDAY – The City Council met in regular session on Dec. 12 and one of the first actions was to donate to the Volunteer Fire Department a property owned by the city. This property is a railroad right-of-way in the area where the new arena is being built.
