KNOX CITY – The Knox City Council met in regular session on Apr. 18 and City Administrator Brian Barboza reports the council addressed a busy agenda. Travis Hawkins was appointed as the city’s representative to the North Central Texas Municipal Water Authority board of directors.

KNOX COUNTY – The Knox City Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a crappie fishing tournament for Saturday, May 6 at Miller Creek Reservoir. This is a fundraising event for the VFD and all entry fees go to the Knox City VFD general operating fund.
