Knox City Council had busy agenda

Body KNOX CITY – The Knox City Council members met in regular session on Jan. 17 and addressed multiple topics in a busy agenda. Mayor Gene Ward swore in Monica Meador as Municipal Judge. Deborah Berryman recently replaced Betty Johnston who is retiring as City Secretary.

Mogul cheerleaders earn State Spirit Championship

Body For the second time in school history, the Munday Mogul Cheerleaders brought home the State Spirit Championship Title.This is the second championship for Mogul Cheer, earning their first in 2021.

Junior Livestock Show this weekend Jan. 20 – 21

Body KNOX COUNTY – Remember the Knox County youngsters are showing their projects and animals this weekend Jan. 20 and 21 at the Munday Event Center (MEC). Three events will be on Friday, Jan. 20: The Project Fair judging at 10 a.m.

From Belgium and Brazil to Munday

Body MUNDAY – Two students, one from Belgium and one from Brazil, joined two other exchange students from Brazil to make Munday their home for the school year. Florine Brimioulle, or Flo, from Liege, Belgium is a Senior in Munday this year.
