NANCY DUNCAN Nancy C. Duncan, 76, a longtime resident of Knox City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. A graveside service was held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023, at the Knox City Cemetery with Rev. Marq Brockett officiating, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Nancy was born Jan. 17, 1947 in Comanche, OK to Bessie (Ponder) and George Molloy. She married Bill Duncan in 1992 in Knox City. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in O’Brien. She enjoyed taking care of her home, her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her husband Bill Duncan of Knox City; sons Kevin Hoeckendorf of Vine Grove, KY., Sean Duncan of Abilene; sister Patsy Orr of Knox City; niece Caroline Orr Brockett of Knox City; grandchildren Hillary Murn of Radcliff, KY., Sarah Cooper Elizabethtown, KY., Scott Hoeckendorf of El Paso, Eric Hoeckendorf of Okinawa, Japan; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bessie and George Molloy.
