Seven Greyhounds receive All-District recognition

Body Teams from District 6 of Conference 1A Division gathered after the elimination of Newcastle to determine the players who would receive All-District recognition. Following the district meeting, seven Greyhounds were named to All-District teams.

Body Last week, the Knox City Houndettes traveled to Throckmorton for one game over Thanksgiving break. The Houndettes entered the game hoping to avenge their loss to Rotan and get back into the win column.Throckmorton controlled the game from the beginning.

#25 Benjamin Mustangs to compete at Ira Tournament

Body The Benjamin Mustangs were set to begin their basketball season this weekend at the Ira Tournament on Thursday, Dec. 4, through Saturday, Dec. 6 (results not available at press time). The Mustangs will begin pool play against Kingdom Prep Academy first on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.

Munday Moguls Thanksgiving roundball roundup

Body The Munday Moguls girls’ basketball team traveled to Anson on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and to Archer City on Friday, Nov. 21. The girls entered the week looking to earn their first victory of the season and build momentum toward the rest of the season.
