Knox County schools dominate all-district volleyball honors

Body Volleyball coaches from Benjamin, Knox City, Munday, and Paducah have released special individual recognition for the four teams in District 8-A.The Benjamin Lady Mustangs, district champions, nabbed the Most Valuable Player award with senior Addi Meinzer taking the top honor.

Body Last Friday the Knox City basketball teams traveled to Rotan. The two teams hoped to begin their season with a victory and build momentum towards the rest of the season.The Greyhounds boys squad took control of their game from the very beginning.

Body The Knox City girls’ basketball team began its season last week against Paint Creek. Knox City hoped to earn its first victory of the season and build momentum for the rest of the schedule. The game was a back-and-forth thriller with the two sides not giving an inch to each other.
