Knox County schools dominate all-district volleyball honors

Body Volleyball coaches from Benjamin, Knox City, Munday, and Paducah have released special individual recognition for the four teams in District 8-A.The Benjamin Lady Mustangs, district champions, nabbed the Most Valuable Player award with senior Addi Meinzer taking the top honor.

Body The Knox City girls’ basketball team began its season last week against Paint Creek. Knox City hoped to earn its first victory of the season and build momentum for the rest of the schedule. The game was a back-and-forth thriller with the two sides not giving an inch to each other.

Body Munday Secondary School teachers applied for and received a total of $5,158 in grants from the Ed Rachal Foundation. Each teacher filled out their grant form listing items that would benefit their classroom.
