Valeria Zavala and Tallon Hayes of Benjamin competed this past week at the Region 2-A Tennis Tournament where they came home with gold medals and the Regional Champion title in Mixed Doubles. Zavala and Hayes won all three rounds of play at the Regional Tournament in San Angelo, defeating their opponents 6-3, 7-5, and 6-1. The Knox City Houndettes finished 3rd as a team at the DIstrict 15-A Track Meet held in Aspermont on April 6, 2023.Ten of the 15 athletes that competed have advanced to the Area Meet on Thursday, April 13,2023.

Teams from Munday and Benjamin competed in the District 16-A Track Met on THursday, April 6, 2023 in Munday.The Mogulettes were named District Champions, while the Moguls walked away with a 2nd Place Team finish. Both the Benjamin Mustangs and Lady Stangs finished as 4th place teams.

Teams from Knox City and Munday traveled to Jayton on Friday, March 25, 2023 to compete in the Rolling Plains Relays. It was a long, competitive day where both schools represented Knox County well. In the JV Boys division, Munday finished 5th as a team while Knox City finished 13th.

Teams from Benjamin, Knox City and Munday traveled to Aspermont on Thursday, March 30, 2023 to compete in the Double Mountain Relays. In the Varsity Boys Division, the Knox City Greyhounds came out as Team Champions with 112 points,while Munday trailed in 2nd with 62 points.
